Nigel Farage, the continent’s one man people’s army is at again, taking the EP’s floor once more to give the Eurocrats their long overdue shot of European reality.
“It feels like I’m attending the meeting of a religious sect here this morning. It’s as if the global revolution of 2016, Brexit, Trump, the Italian rejection in the referendum, is completely bypassed. (…) A lot of citizens now recognise this form of centralised government simply doesn’t work.
(…) This morning mister Verhofstadt said the people want more Europe. They don’t. The people want less Europe. (…) But something more fundamental is going on out there. Many of you, when you hear what I’m about to say, will probably despise your own voters.
Because just last week the Chatham House, the reputable group, published a massive survey from ten European member states, and only 20% of people want immigration from Muslim countries to continue.”
Meanwhile, the European Commission, the EU’s unelected legislative body, clearly hasn’t got the slightest clue on how to regain some legitimacy under its subjects, so out of pure desperation it’s now posting pictures and texts like the one below. Alright, it’s Valentines day indeed, but come on.
An institute shouting it is loved, clearly isn’t.
